Last night went mostly as the forecasters had advertised. Great sailing until midnight, then confused wind as it shifted to the west. I switched to motor at twelve. It was pitch black, which made bringing the sails down in total darkness a more interesting job than it usually is.
This morning I have light westerlies, which I think will be perfect for the light-wind gennaker, Jadadog, named for another beautiful hound dog. Once I am awake enough to do it justice, we will put it up. The dolphins arrived at sunset last night and played around the boat. Sorry, no pictures, but hopefully they come back today. More rest for me first.
