That was close. I was making a drink and I heard a big noise, and a huge nut had fallen onto the skylight. It was big enough that I knew it was going to be critical, so I had a look around. Turns out it was the primary bolt that holds the boom on. Boy, I was lucky we were motoring at the time. If it had let go while we were sailing, it could have been very bad. Scary.
